Bring a question about your product, your designs or your next design project. We look at it with you, talk through the options and help you choose what to do next. You don’t need to commit to a project.
Topics teams bring to a consultation
What you can ask
A consultation works best with one clear question, or a short list of related ones. These are the kinds of questions SaaS teams bring, grouped by where they are.
For ideas and early products
For products people already use
For work in progress
For teams building design capacity
Not sure how to phrase it? Describe the problem when you book and we’ll help shape the question before the session.
Advice or a project?
It’s easy to mix these up, so here’s what each one is for. A consultation gives you expert advice and a clear next step. It doesn’t include design work.
Ways to work with us
Most teams start with a single consultation. If the question is bigger, or you want advice as your team works, there are two other options.
An hour or two on one decision, such as feature priorities, a tricky flow or a design you’re unsure about.
Two or three sessions over a few weeks, for decisions that need thinking time between conversations, such as planning an MVP or choosing between fixing and redesigning.
Regular sessions with your designers or developers, who want an experienced SaaS design view on their work as it happens.
How a consultation works
A consultation is short, so most of the value comes from preparing well and finishing with clear next steps.
Tell us what you want to decide and who’s joining. It keeps the session focused on your problem, not on introductions.
Links, a test login, Figma files or screenshots. We look before we meet, so session time goes on answers.
We go through your product or designs on screen and ask the questions that matter for the decision.
We lay out the realistic options, what each one costs in time and effort, and what we’d choose and why.
We finish with a short, ordered list of what to do next and who does it.
The question, our recommendations and the next steps, in a short note you can share with your team.
Act on it yourselves, or ask us about further help. There’s no obligation to continue.
What you leave with
The aim is simple: when the session ends, you know what to do next and why.
Or, if the answer depends on something we can’t see yet, a clear way to find out.
The realistic choices, side by side, with what each one costs and risks.
What we’d do in your position, and why, so your team can judge it for themselves.
A short list of what to do first, second and later.
Whether a UX audit, an MVP design, a redesign or nothing more would help. Often, nothing more is the answer.
A short note of the above to share with your team after the session.
Before you book
Only the first item is essential. The rest helps us give more specific advice in the time we have.
0 of 6 ready
This checklist is just for you. Nothing you tick here is saved or sent.
Who you’ll talk to
Consultations are run by our product designers, the same people who design and build SaaS products with our clients.
We design for software products and nothing else, so the patterns behind your question are familiar ground: onboarding, dashboards, roles, billing.
We also develop SaaS products, so our advice takes build effort into account, not just how a screen looks.
SEO and paid campaigns are part of our work too, so advice on sign-up and pricing pages connects to how people find you.

Services
This page covers expert advice. When you need the design work itself, these are the services that do it. You can also combine them.
A marketing website and landing pages that explain what your product does and lead visitors to a trial or demo, planned with search in mind.
A structured update of a live product, planned so current users can keep working while the experience gets clearer.
A focused first version: the essential flows only, designed so developers can build it without guesswork.
A review of your current product to find where users struggle, with recommendations on what to fix first.
The screens and flows of your product, from onboarding to billing, designed so users reach their first result faster.
FAQ
It’s a working session with an experienced SaaS product designer about a specific question: your product, your designs or a project you’re planning. We look at it with you, talk through the options and agree what to do next. It’s advice, not design work.
The free call is for getting to know each other and working out which service, if any, fits. A consultation is a working session: we review your materials beforehand and spend the time answering your question in depth.
Anything to do with how your product looks and works: feature priorities, onboarding, navigation, dashboards, roles and permissions, a prototype, two competing designs, or how to set up design in your team.
The people who will make or act on the decision. Usually a founder or product lead, and often a designer or developer.
Yes. Send links, a test login, Figma files or screenshots when you book, and we’ll review them beforehand so the session goes on answers.
No. A consultation gives you advice and next steps. If you need screens or flows designed, that’s a separate project, such as SaaS UI/UX design.
No. A consultation focuses on the question you bring. A UX audit reviews your key journeys in depth and gives you a ranked list of problems with evidence. A consultation can help you decide whether you need one.
Yes. Many teams want a second opinion before they build. We give honest, specific feedback on the work, not on the people who made it.
A single consultation is usually an hour or two. The length, format and price are confirmed when you book, before anything is scheduled.
Yes. Ongoing design advice suits teams with their own designers or developers who want an experienced SaaS design view as they work.
No. Many teams act on the advice themselves. If you do want more help, we’ll suggest the smallest piece of work that answers the need.
Book a consultation and tell us the question you’re working on. If you’d rather check first whether a consultation is the right fit, send us a short note and we’ll reply.
